The World Affairs Council and its Young Professionals International Forum (IF)

June

Brief description
The World Affairs Council and its Young Professionals International Forum (IF) welcome you to a celebration of Africa. All too often, people think of Africa as one large country that is uniform in its culture, its race, its desperation and despair. This event aims to show the cultural, racial and geographical diversity of Africa and will focus on the progress, specifically in innovation and entrepreneurship, that is taking place today across the continent. We will be joined by Dr. Paschal Iwuh, President & CEO of The African Network, a global non-profit organization with the goal of fostering entrepreneurship and technology among people of African descent. The talk will be followed by a music performance as well as African food and drinks for all attendees. Please join us for an educational and fun evening. The celebration will continue with an after party at Little Baobab in the Mission!
